Shawna Lee Sinnott is a 20-year-old sophomore at Harvard University.
She is a Midshipman in the Navy ROTC program, where she is training to become an Officer in the United States Marine Corps.
Shawna's platform is called "Keeping the Faith: Giving Back
to America's Wounded Warriors", the focus of which is to promote awareness about veterans' issues and to encourage more transitional
assistance for those returning from deployment.
Shawna most recently held the title of Miss Boston 2007, during
which she dedicated her efforts to working with the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans. She was a Top Ten Semi-Finalist
at Miss Massachusetts 2007.
